Childcare & Babysitting Class at the Community Center

Whether you’re an aspiring babysitter eager to learn essential skills or looking to boost your confidence in childcare, this course is perfect for you (ages 12 & up). Registration is required but there is no fee for this class. Register on YTRD.org under Youth Enrichment.

Essential skills learned include:

• Master CPR and First Aid*
• Learn how to find a job and write a resume
• Gain insights on caring for infants, toddlers, preschool and school aged children
• Develop strategies for keeping yourself and the children in your care safe
• Prepare for minor accidents and emergencies with confidence.

Saturdays, January 24th – March 7th from 12:00 – 2:30pm
Saturdays, March 28th – May 9th from 12:00 – 2:30pm

*To receive the Red Cross CPR & First Aid Certification, the student MUST be present during that lesson.
