Zoning Board of Appeals
The Ypsilanti Township Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) consists of 5 Ypsilanti Township residents, who are appointed by the Township Board of Trustees. The Zoning Board of Appeals is a quasi-judicial body with the authority to hear and determine appeals of administrative decisions and variance applications and make interpretations of Zoning Ordinance provisions.Zoning Board of Appeals Application
Meeting Schedule
The Zoning Board of Appeals meets on the first Wednesday of every month, with the exclusion of holidays. The deadline for application submission is approximately 25 days prior to the scheduled meeting.
Special meetings may be held at the request of the applicant. If a special meeting is called, the applicant is required to pay a fee of $1,100.
