AAATA Vacancy for Ypsilanti Township Jurisdiction

The Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (AAATA) Board of Directors has a vacancy in the Ypsilanti Township jurisdiction.

The AAATA Board of Directors meets on the 3^rd Thursday of each month. Board meetings take place on the fourth floor of the Downtown Ann Arbor District Library at 6:30pm. The AAATA Board of Directors guide and control the agency through written policy. The appointees will receive a $75 stipend per meeting.

To qualify for the AAATA Board of Directors, candidates must be a registered voter, reside in Ypsilanti Township, be 18 years of age or older, and a U.S. citizen.

Those interested must send a letter of interest and resume to the Charter Township of Ypsilanti Clerk’s Office (7200 S. Huron River Rd, Ypsilanti, MI 48197 or to [email protected]). Please note that Civic Center hours are from 8:30am – 4:30pm, closed from 12:00pm – 1:00pm for lunch daily.

Submissions will be accepted until 4:30pm on Monday, February 10, 2025. The Board of Trustees will consider the appointment to this vacancy at the Tuesday, February 18, 2025 board meeting at 6:00pm.
