Planning Commission Vacancy
Charter Township of Ypsilanti is looking to fill a vacancy for the Planning Commission.
The Planning Commission meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. The work sessions begin at 6:00pm, and the meetings begin at 6:30pm. The Planning Commission can make recommendations to a zoning plan and districts per the Township’s ordinance, approve special land uses, planned unit developments, and site plans. The appointees will receive a $75 stipend per meeting.
In order to qualify for the Planning Commission, candidates must be a registered voter who has resided in the Charter Township of Ypsilanti for at least 30 days, be 18 years of age or older, and a U.S. citizen.
Those interested must send a letter of interest and resume to the Charter Township of Ypsilanti Clerk’s Office (7200 S. Huron River Rd, Ypsilanti, MI 48197 or to [email protected]). Please note that Civic Center hours are from 8:30am – 4:30pm, closed from 12:00pm – 1:00pm for lunch daily.
