Neighborhood Meetings
Community groups meet at a suitable location in their area or at one of the Township buildings. Most groups are organized and managed by a resident coordinator and a core group of active members. Individual groups are at liberty to conduct meetings according to their own preferences and schedules. A representative of the Township, the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office and the Township Fire Department attend each meeting, providing crime statistics and other information of interest. Issues and problems raised at meetings are brought back to the Township and Sheriff’s Office for staff assignment and resolution.
